Materials

Required

1 Lap Top PC. (Portable Computer). Buy one with a good memory. We have had students with crashed machines because the memory was insufficient for the installed programs we use at the Academy. It is also important that you buy the best graphic card you can get (number 512).

Programs to purchase: Remember to buy the Original Student version. They are much cheaper.
You can buy the original programs, student version and in English via

www.student-software.co.uk (The Marbella Design Academy has a special agreement with them. It is therefore important that you write as followed to be able to buy your programs from out side UK).
• Select: International Shipping
• Select for delivery address: Student Name: (Your name)
Address: Marbella Design Academy
Town: Marbella
Postcode: Spain

THIS WILL WORK and you should have your program within 1 week.
* When you receive the program you will have to send Adobe the letter from Marbella Design Academy confirming you are a registered student. This is very important. If they do not receive this, they will not send you the registration code for you to register your purchased student version program in your laptop.

If you can buy the programs cheaper other place you are of course free to do so. You are the owner of your Lap Top and the programs you purchase. Your Lap Top and your programs are therefore not the schools responsibility.

You do not need to bring your Laptop to the first day of school.
You will have your own workstation at the Academy and your own personal locker with a key. All your teachers and I are looking forward to see you soon!

Yours Sincerely,
Helle Byrn, Director
